The problem
Oasis Stoneworks sells Mexican beach pebbles and crushed stone to homeowners and contractors. Carlos Dubon came with a new business, an old WordPress site, and no ecommerce setup. The store needed real product media and shipping that could handle everything from 50 lb bags to full truckloads across the US and Mexico.
What I built
Full Shopify store build, product setup, and domain cutover from WordPress. Real product photos and videos instead of stock imagery. Weight-based shipping from bags to full truckloads, plus Mexico market and pickup options. Custom square footage calculator so customers know how much stone to buy before checkout. Post-launch support: media updates, Judge.me reviews, and shipping and pricing tweaks.
The result
Launched in three states, sold out within seven days at a $490 average order value. Expanded to nationwide shipping within a year. Coverage calculator and real product media shipped as follow-on work after launch. Carlos kept coming back for shipping, pricing, reviews, and Mexico market updates.
